Have you ever truly been hungry? Have you ever really not known where your next meal would come from or where you were going to sleep? Can you imagine waking up one morning and being told by your parents that they can no longer care for you and being told to leave?
Every day in Eastern Europe children are thrown away and put on the street as if they were garbage. The streets of Eastern Europe mean certain death for some, and unimaginable pain for others.
Farmers Without Fences is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to providing nutritional, emotional and spiritual guidance to orphaned, institutionalized and abandoned street children.
Many of the children in the care of Farmers Without Fences live in state-run as well as Christian-run orphanages. By partnering with the children living in these homes, Farmers Without Fences has been able to teach the children the basic survival skills through farming and small animal science programs.
